Post Reactor Designs

What do you guys think of this design for a reactor. Any drawbacks? Basically, water and CO2 get mixed before the pump, enters at the bottom of one chamber, goes up, enters the second chamber at top, goes back down the second chamber, and enters the first chamber again at the bottom. I think any undissolved CO2 would accumulate at the top of the second chamber, preventing entrance into the tank. But by having the water recirculate through both chambers, you get to dissolve twice the amount of aragonite, but also prevent any CO2 from entering the tank. The inputs and outputs are essentially at the bottom of both chambers. But by having the fittings at the top for the input, output, and CO2, I'll be able to eliminate the need for check valves. Is this right? Also, how convenient is it to have a self filling bubble counter. It complicates things slightly, but IMO does not seem to be inconvenient to fill it every now and again while forcing me to make sure the reactor is dialed in properly. I figured on using 8" diameter 24" long acrylic tubing for both chambers, and having a single acrylic plate with a gasket, and nylon screws to seal both chambers.

Perry deserves the credit for coming up with the idea of having the water recirculated through both chambers.

OK I volunteer to test it on my system.....No really I'd be interested in one Danny. Looks good so far - I'll keep taking a look at it to scrutinize and hopefully won't find anything but a great design.

I would put a check valve on the fitting for the CO2 just as a precautionary measure. Just my $.02 Good luck
