    Hi:
i have the 300mg model. needless to say if you have a venturi skimmer you don't need an airpump. Use ozone resistant tubing and connect the output of the ozotech unit to the inlet(stuff the tubing into the venturi hole). make sure th elength of tubing is short(under 1 ft or else you'll reduce th eamount of air too much. Also beaware that you'll need to adjust your skimmer accordingly as this setup decreases the total amount of air entering your venturi. Also O3 will reduce a fair number of organices prior to your skimmer extracting them...which will reduce the amount of stuff to skim.
Last point, w/ this much O3 you have some way of removing residual O3 right?? carbon bags at each outflow???

    Power,
The Tetra Luft Pump will give you what you need. A little bit more than the others, but so is your skimmer, and ozonizer, so I dont think you care. The Tetra also has an added feature which allows you to turn down the flow of air which should suit your concerns perfectly. HTH

    Hi,
Thanks for your response. I will be connecting the ozonizer to a (MarineTechnical.com) MTC ozone reactor, then thru a carbon filled substrate reactor back to the sump. My skimmer is an MTC 48" power venturi and is run independently. MTC says I need 3-5 PSI in the reactor, and says I need an air pump for the ozonizer.Today I got some information from Ozotech saying air pump pressure to the ozonizer should not exceed 10 PSI,and the pump should produce between 6 and 10 CFH.
Do you know where I could find such a pump. Any thoughts ?

    Thank you

    Duncan,
Thanks for your response. Since you use MTC equipment,I'd appreciate your comments regarding the following:
    1. What pump (size and manufacturer)do you recommend to supply the MTC reactor
    2. What flowrate in GPH thru the reactor
    3. What model # is the recommended tetra luft pump
    4. How often do you change the carbon in the substrate reactor.
    5. What do you think of the MTC Pro-Cal

If possible, send your email address.I have other questions regarding your wonderful reef setups, and the great webpage.
    Thanks again

    Powerplay,
    1.)Pump=Hagen 802
    2.)GPH=See above
    3.)Tetra Luft Pump=7.25max psi(dont know which model#,
but this pressure is good), I have also used the
Supra 1 model with great results. You have to
fiddle with the air because every set up is
    different.
4.)I change the carbon about once a month.
5.)THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE for the MTC Pro-Cal(IMHO)

My E-Mail addy is in my profile folder. feel free to ask as many questions as possible. HTH.
