Featured Member Series 2-04

Our next Featured Member is Hippopus and his awesome 240 gallon SPS dominated Reef. If you've been involved in the Online Reefing Community, then you should be familiar with Hippopus and his famous clam, SCAR.

You can check out all of the details here:

Congratulations Jim!

Great looking tank Jim! How does the angel behave? What size was it when you introduced it?

Regards,
Kevin

The angel is a model citizen. He was about 3 1/2 inches when I got him. Now he is about 5 inches (scribble) I use to have a regal the same size. Had him about 5 years before he passed away. He was also very good in the reef.

So, why no crabs?

I've seen someone else note that they removed all crabs. But no explanation as to why. Could you please elaborate?

Thanks

Hey JJ, I don't have any crabs because they always seemed to EAT MY SNAILS!!! Nasty little buggers.
