let me just pick my jaw up of the floor... ah there we go.
JB, you tank is mind blowing. A well deserved winner of tank of the month.
You should have your own website for your system. I think your tank just became my new favourite tank.
Well done again, your tank is an inspiration to all reefers throughout the world.

Once again thanks guys!
Kevin, Thank you, that makes me feel great. But your tank's not too shabby either.
Rocky, Thanks so much for the kind words my friend, I do truly enjoy this hobby. If you are ever in New York, let me know.
Besides the joys (and frustrations) that come with keeping a tank and watching everything thrive. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet and interact with so many interesting people. I've really tried to help out and contribute whenever I find the means, the time or an neat idea strikes me that could help out others.
A little story, last night I spent about an hour reading threads on different boards, some if different countries. Links people had sent me and referrer logs from my website. Mostly threads of people posting pictures of a new stand they build using the design I posted of my stand, and people talking and discussing the testing that I did on metal halide lamps. I can't tell you the satisfaction I feel when reading how much I was able to help someone better their tank. Reading things like that and times like these are the stuff that keep this hobby so interesting and make it so worthwhile.
Congratulations, Joe! Beautiful tank.

Once again thanks guys!
Joe,
Congratulations! I agree w everything previously posted!
I have a question -- I read that you add 2 gals of live rotifers each night. Do you grow them yourself? Some sort of "live culture" is going to be my next project -- still deciding on whether it's going to be a 'pod tank or mysids or rotifers. What suggestions do you have for me? ;;
Rebecca
Joe, Congratulations on a well deserved honor. Some excellent photos also. One Beautiful tank. Regards, Tony
Rebecca, I grow live phytoplankton and rotifers. I've been doing this for almost two years. I would say to grow the rotifers. Both rotifers and phytoplankon are easy to grow and maintain, you need a few minutes everyday to keep the rotifers going. But it's really no hassle. I have a bunch on info on how I grow my cultures on my website. Click on the link for Culturing live food on the left side www.cnidarianreef.com
Tony, Thanks for the congrats my friend. I'll see you at out next club meeting.
