Congratulation, Mike! Well deserved. Nice write up as well.
You've done a great job with that tank of yours and I'm sure your next one will be as successfull as this one, probably much more.
For the first Featured Member of 2005, we are pleased to showcase Poseidon and his 135 gallon reef! Mike has been a very dedicated member of our community for a long time now and we are glad he has chose Reefland.com as his home.

Thanks guys!!!
I appreciate the compliments, and I am very honored to be selected as a Featured Member. Unfortunately the move I was afraid of is almost a certainty now, so looks like I am going to a 90 gallon.... Guess I have some FRAGGING to do!!!
How far are you moving Mike?
Hopefully not to far... Definately within 20-30 minutes drive of the house.
At least you won't have to worry about livestock losses then.
Congratulations Mike!!! Your apparant hard work and dedication have obviously paid off. I don't blame you if you can't wear fitted hats any more.

Congrats tank looks great.
Congrats on being featured this month. The tank really looks great. What are the "green tipped" corals in your called? The picture is in the feature column side by side with the ricordea(?). The pic on the left.
Also, what camera and lens do you use to take your pictures?

My 210G Build thread
210g AGA 20g sump, 20g Refugium, Bermuda 5C Skimmer
Fish: Golden Pygmy Angel, 4 O.Clownfish, Lamark Angel, Blue Hippo Tang, 2 Green Chromis, Blue Reef Chromis, Lubbocks Wrasse, Auriga Butterfly
Thanks for the compliment! The picture next to the ricordia is Galaxia. It is an LPS that has done very well for me. I have a LARGE mother colony that I have trimmed back at least 3 times now, I also have 2 pieces that started out the size of quarters and now they are half dollar size.Originally Posted by bguile
As for camera and lens, I use a digital SLR, the Canon 10D. The lens I use is either the 70-200 2.8L or the 28-135 IS. I also just purchased the 500D close up lens, it screws onto the front of my 70-200 and makes taking macros so much easier. The depth of field is VERY small with that on though, so I have to use a tripod most of the time!
Well deserved! Congrats Mike ;)
