Breeding discus?

Does anyone do it here? When doing it, does one pair then get really aggresive to the other discus in the tank? Also when buying them, I'd like to get all 5 at once in the 55g tank, or will I have to much of a spike? thanks guys

also which one should I get?

All 3 are beautiful. I'm very partial to the redness of the first two. Very good coloration. It's hard to tell with the small pics though. Got anything bigger?

Do you know what species those are?

at that size youre definitely better off buying all 5 at once. at that age they can be very shy and benefit from the security of a group. as far as breeding, once they pair off and decide to breed they can become very aggressive to other tank mates. if youre serious about breeding and would like to raise the offspring its best to separate the pair into another tank, a 29 gallon works great. of the three you pictured i would go with the 2nd one, although the candy apple from mac's page looks nice also. HTH.
