I am upgrading from 440 watts of vho over my 75 gallon to 220 watts of vho(actinic) and 260 watts of power compact(daylight). I am not planning on keeping any sps or clams so I think I should be ok with almost anything else. What do you think?

I don't really understand why you are wanting to change your lighting for just an added 40 watts.Would'nt the added actinic make your tank a little blue?If what you have now is working for you with the corals thriving why change? You say you are'nt gonna go with sps or clams,so I don't understand why you feel the need for a change.
I know this is'nt much help but if you could maybe give a few more specifics maybe we could think os something better. David |

Well PC is supposed to have more lux than vho. Its not just the wattage. & im not adding any extra blue. Im just taking the 10000K VHOs out & putting the PCs in in their place. And the whole reason I am doing this is I originally thought I blew up my ice cap ballast & my tank hasn't had real light in about a week and a half now. I want to go with MH but I would need another raise at work before I could do that.
