Switching PC to MH help

Hey guys,
It's been a long time since i've posted.
I hope everyone is doing well.

I forgot most of what I picked up from here and need some input.

Currently I have a 75g tank with 4x96w pc's
I think it's time to upgrade to MH.

I wanted to remove 2 of the pc's to make room for the MH

Should I go with 250w or 400w
What is the best bulb and ballast out?
Also what site's should I check out for pricing and such.
I'd like to keep the price as low as possible.

Just a few places to look at. I am not positive but with the 400 watters you might have a heating issue you need to look at.I would consider the 250's with a Actinic supplementation.Really depends on what corals you want to keep.

So far I like the BLUELINE E-BALLAST 250W but I can't find it in stock anywhere. I have searched countless sites.
Does anyone know where I could get my hands on one of these?

I purchased 2 HQI 250 watt Icecap ballasts, 2 10K AB bulbs and the PFO reflectors all for around 470 including shipping!!

I likes the look of the bulbs alone, but like it even more with a single VHO actinic 03!!!

hope this helps.... BTW these ballasts are silent!!!

I went ahead and ordered an Icecap 250 with a german bulb.
I'll add another one next month.

Fishtechie came by and helped me move my tank to a better place and setup the MH. Looks great. I'm glad I finally made the switch.
