Lights lights and more lights
Would anyone like to try to answer me this??????
If i have 400 watts of PCs how does that differ from 400 watts of halides? If i want to be able to keep any type of coral....that require lets say 5 watts per gallon what if i have 5 watts per gallon of PC ? What if i have 5 watts per gallon of halides??? does it make a difference pc or halides of the same watts |

Halide bulbs are more of a point source, thus penetrate deeper.
Pc and vho bulbs spread light out more evenly, but have much depth penetration.

Yes, I would say if one had enough of any type of lighting, corals would grow. I have seen some nice tanks running 8 normal output 40w bulbs.
