ballast question

hello all, i have had a csl pc 36" 2 x 96w for approx. 6 years and i want to add another 2 x 96w. i plan on getting a csl electro-lite ballast. my current ballast is a csl brand but it is an older model. will the new ballast out perform my older one? or will it even make a difference? thanks

I wouldn't think it would make that much of a difference. i'm not a big fan of PC's though. i prefer VHO's over PC's after using both types. VHO's look better and i had better growth.
