Light Vs. Heat
I Got A 5 Gal Tank With 20 Watt Of Light. Got A Sheild Between The Light And The Water. Do Your Think The Heat Of The Light Will Effact The Temputer Of The Water? Do Your Think I Need A Fan For My Light

5 gallons is pretty small, normally I would say no fan needed, but you may want to keep an eye on it... Just set it up and monitor for a day or 2, you can always add a fan if it needs it, or hang the bulbs over the tank by an 1" or 2... I'm 95% sure it will not be an issue though. |

I also have a 5 gallon with pc lighting, i think either 16 or 20 watts.. doesn't affect the water temp at all. Although the plastic top does get a little hot.
