waterproof endcaps

I am running a 55 gal tank with 2 175w halides and want to install 2 48" NO flourecents for color enhancement. I have found waterproof endcaps for VHO and T5 bulbs but none stating they will work on normal output flourecents. Will the VHO's work on standard NO bulbs? If not what can I use for these types of bulbs. Don't really think I need the extra lighting of VHO's. Looking for some advice here. Thanks

VHO endcaps will work great for NO's. you just can't use NO endcaps on VHO's. the VHO endcaps are capable of resisting more heat. NO's don't put out that much heat, so there's no worries.
