Anyone know anything about Helios T5 lighting ?

A LFS is selling this Helios T5 fixture with (8) 54 watt bulbs for $300. Another LFS says there are different qualties of T5 bulbs and that these Helios do not put out as much light per watt as the other T5 bulbs out there. Is this true ?
