lighting for a 30gal

hey i need some suggestions on what kind of lighting i can get for my 30gal tank without buying it off line for hundreds of dollars, so maybe someone has an idea about some DIY lighting. The tanks dimensions are- 20.5"L, 18"W, 21.25"H. thanks!

I don't know what you want, the lights needed for a reef tank are expensive. If you want to do a Fish only tank then the bulb that you have now, if you want to do a reef, then you need T5, VHO, PC or Metal Halide. For your tank I would think 3-4 VHO bulbs would be a good combo.
