Hi All,
At one of my jobs they just redid all of the lighting in the store and there was like a PILE of ballasts just waiting to be thrown away. So I took a look and found the following: -Magnetek 1110-247-S-C-TC for 1 metal halide 400W M-59 or 400W H33 -Magnetec 490-X-LH-TC-P High Output Rapid Start for 2 or single combonation of T12H.O.R.S Lamp Currant 800MA. -Vermont Electric Ballast CAT 8G1141W Rapid Start I am really not sure what each of these ballsts mean and have checked out the Magnetek web site but found nothing. Could use some help knowing if any of these are any good. Does anyone know how much these go for? Thanks, CaptK |

Call a local electric supply house and give them the numbers. They should be able to fax you back what type of bulbs and so forth that each ballast will fire. They can also price new ballast.
I know advances site tells you what type of ballast fires what type of bulb with there electric catalog. ------------------ ------------------------ Paul C Things should be made as simple as possible, but not any simpler. Einstein [This message has been edited by Ltspd (edited 05-08-2001).] |

Yeah, I think the first one on your list is a standard MH ballast. It should drive most MH bulbs, Maybe!

CaptainK, sounds like bad news to me, you had better box all that stuff/junk up and mail it to me down here. hehehehe Seriously, though, I may, "may" be interested in one of those when you find out what they fire.
