Post mounting vho when using spider reflectors?

My tank is 18" wide and the spider reflector is 16" long . I guess I will have to mount the vho's under the mh reflectors. Will this damage the end caps or the bulbs? How should I do this? What material should I use to hold the vho under the reflectors with? Wood ? Put one vho in front and one in back ? TIA

why dont you just turn the reflector so it faces the long way. and all your bulbs are inline with your tank?

Cool

The idea of using the spider reflector is the it goes perpindicular to the tank and spreads the light out for more coverage. The tank is 6 feet long and I'm tring to use 2 250 watt mh. The other thing that I have to deal with is the front and the top half of the canopy open together. Thats going to make it harder to mount the lights also. So any ideas are wlcome!

Well I have made some brackets to hold the vhos out of oak. I have mounted them and am now going to mount the spider reflectors next to them. Hope this works! When I get this all in I'll post some pics. Thanks for the help
