My hood, but what do I do with actinic VHO's?

I succeeded in building my hood this past Sunday. It's not professional looking, but looks good. Here it is:




My question is, I will put 1 VHO's actinic blues 95 watts on each side of the metal halides, totalling to 190 watts total of blue actinic. Now, should I flatten out the reflectors and put the VHO next to the halide, or leave the reflectors bent like it is in the picture and just add the VHO next to the reflector. I'm not sure if the first method will result in the VHO bulb blowing up because of the metal halide heat. Please suggestions, I would like to get this thing done so I can put it over my tank [img]/ubb/smile.gif[/img]

I wouldnt bend the metal. I would just put the VHO's next to the reflector if you are using URI bulbs then they have built in reflectors. Plus there only actinics anyway.

Leave the metal bent, you do want a heat shield Between the metal halides and the flourescents. Hood looks good, better than I could do I'm sure.....[img]/ubb/smile.gif[/img]
