Gosh I don't know tonyb. I am always very skeptical of purchasing these "unamed" bulbs that no one has tested before to reveal the PAR values. I think the AB's or Ushio's are worth the extra money to eliminate any questions.

ok, so its coming close to time to replace my 150w de bulbs. i was looking on ebay for some aqulines... but i found these

now. i would prefer the aqualines. but for half the price i might get some of these just to test them out.... what do you think of these? has anyone tried them before?

I hate to buy things if the seller isn't even willing to identify the manufacturer or the brand name. What is someone were to advertize a cheap brand new automobile on eBay and you ended up buying a Yugo? :eek3:

Yeah, when it comes to bulbs I'd say stick with what works and had worked for you before.I tried playing with different bulbs a little while ago and almost wacked my entire tank. Not worth it, I think.![]()
