I just got my first Icecap ballast from an e-bay auction. In shipment one of the bulbs got broken. My question is this. When I plug in the ballast and one bulbs it lights for about 1 second and then goes off. Any ideas???? is it the ballast? It is not my circuit breakers because they are not flipping off. It will do the same thing on and then off as often as you plug it in. Any Help would be great!!!
Thanks, Schottman |

Hi Schottman!
If your not running the amount of bulbs you wired it for, a 1 second burn will result. Not being properly wired is another cause. Probably not the ballast. Scott |

If you think that the ballast may not be wired correctly check out Icecaps website, there you can find the different wiring diagrams for the ballast. If you are trying to run the ballast without first replacing the broken bulb that is most likely the cause of the short burn time. If you eed to use the ballastnow and can't get the bulb that you want right away keepin mind that you can use a NO bulb in place of the broken bulb. Skip

make sure the endcaps are good and not loose. You may think they are tight.
