MH Question

I have a friend that is wondering if a GE MULTI VAPOR LAMP part # MVR 175-V Ballast M57 will work for a reef tank?

as it were......... I am the friend,, I had dennis post this for me while i was at work....
It is a MH lamp.... he just wasnt sure of the k rating..... 10k, 20k, 5500.. etc...

do any of you possible know? as this bulb is only 16 bucks...

It has a color temperature of 3000-4000 Kelvin and a 65-75 CRI. (According to the GE website.)

I wouldn't use it.

thankyou..... i knew it would be low... but i was thinking more around 5500.. but that is oo low to suppliment... thanks..
