I have a 12G flat back hex with 36W of lighting (A 27W quad, and a 9 watt acintic). I believe I can upgade to a 2x32 watt option and it should fit ok inside the existing hood. Im not keeping any sps, but a bunha softies, shrooms, sponges, gorgos, shrooms... Will this change make the corals much happier? Thanks, Todd |

I belive you will notice in your tank.every little may make a diff. But if its gonna cost$$ it may not be worth it really. If your corals are fine and the light cost $$ I would leave it. But if your getting a deal I would get it.JMO

I also think that you'd benefit from more. Probably not NEEDED, but beneficial without a doubt.

I agree that what you currently have is fine but the upgrade would be better. If you have any intentions of keeping corals with a higher lighting demand then go for the upgrade. Skip
