29 gallon 250 watt ??

29 gallon 250 watt ??

would 1 250 watt bulb be enough in a 29 gallon if i plan to keep soft corals and large polyped corals ? also what all could i keep in it and what couldnt if i used a single 250watt bulb

A 250w Metal Halide would allow you to keep any type of coral you decided you like. The only limitation you would have as to what you could keep in your tank, is the size of the tank which doesn't really allow room for Anemone's. Clams, SPS corals, soft, LPS, it's up to you at that point in regards to the lighting.

For a Double-Ended 250w fixture, I like the Sunlight Supply Reef Optix III pendents, powered by either the Sunlight Supply Bluewave ballast or an Icecap ballast. The bulb choices are plentiful; 10k or 20k AB depending on the tank color you like. For a white look, the 10k. For blue, the 20k.

For prices, I'd say somewhere in the neighborhood of $320.
