40W fixure witha 65W bulb
what would it do if i use a 65w Bulb in my 40W fixture? would the lower wattage be harmful to tank? would this not reach the full spectrum?

you would probably not get the full spectrum and would definately only get 40 watts.

yea i figured as much. i went out and bought a 40W 65k bulb and it cleaned up my tanks look a bit. not so blue now. makes me happy
