Well, i emaild AH supply about the PC upgrade kits and they said they would be worried about the bulb melting the plastic of the ecplise hood i have! Anyone out there with this conversion that knows what to expect? I am just going to be using a single 13 watt PC bulb on the tank.
Thanks, Andy

I have heard of people doing this mod to an Eclipse before with no problems, there is also a retro kit available at www.petsolutions.com for a 32 watt (I think) PC kit that they say will fit in a standard Eclipse hood. Skip

Andy,
I've been running the dual 13watt PC conversion from AH Supply on my Eclipse 6 refugium for over a year with no problems at all. The kit comes with 2 "buttons" for ventilation, I would just make sure you use them both for heat exhaust. HTH! |
