Difference between 10K, 14K and 20K lights?

Hi, I am new to the Reefland forums. There is a lot of really good information in these forums, and I can just sit and read and read and read...

I have a question maybe someone can answer or point me to the answer... What is the spectral difference in 10,000, 14,000 and 20,000 K lights and which would be the best for a 75 gallon mixed tank, with maybe a few clams?
