PLEASE HELP...need advice big time!
Okay....
I just purchased a Coralife 4x65 48" PC for my 65 gallon tank. I am very new to this and need some advice on what I can keep in the tank in regards to corals? I already have a few mushrooms and a polyp that I had w/ my other lighting (2x50 flourescent). Anyways any advice you guys could give me would be great.....also if you could suggest some particular items that would be great. I desperately need some color.... Thanks, Neal |

Hi nealtherep, Welcome to Reefland!
To give you some gerneralizations, you should be able to keep most soft corals and large polyp stony corals that are photosynthetic. Brain corals, Torch and Frogspawn corals, Finger Leathers; they would all do fine with that lighting. In order to really identify which corals would do good in your enviroment and to see some great pictures to give yourself an idea of what you want, I would suggest picking up Eric Borneman's Aquarium Corals book. ![]() |
