Upgrade my 65watt power compact?

Being in college, I only have the 24" 65 watt power compact on my 29 gallon tank. I am thinking of getting a 30" 130 watt double strip instead. I would rather VHO but I don't think I have the money for it, nor do I think it is worth it since I think the 130 watt will be sufficient for now untill a few years I can get a bigger tank.

Do you guys think the 130watt 30" double strip is enough for now (opposed to my 65 watt light). I know it can only be better, but is it worth it?

What do you plan on keeping? PC is a great light for softies like Xenia, Anthelia, Capanella... It is also good for most LPS, like blasstomoussa, Galaxia, Trumpet Corals... But if your goal is SPS or Clams save your Money for Metal Halide. They really are NOT that expensive, if you know where to look. I'll give you a hint, SKIP the LFS route...

thanks for the help, money wise i might just get the 30" 130 watt power compact. I know a guy who does lighting and may be able to get something through him, but am afraid it will be too hot.
