It's TIME!!!

Okay the Tax return is in the bank and now it is time to replace my bulbs! According to Sanjay's site and research, it looks like the XM 10K is going to give me the most PAR for my ballast. I am planning on ordering these, but I want to make sure I am not missing anything else.

Just to make it easy, I have the IceCap HQI ballasts 250 watt and the PFO "spider" reflectors with Mogul bases.

Any other opinions would be most appreciated!

Mike

Mike, that is what I use and according to JBNY tests they are second after Iwasaki's in terms of par. I run mine with PFO's HQI ballast( M81 I think) and I am really pleased with the color and growth rates and all that. I also have VHO actinics with them and I think they are pleasing to the eye with this combination.

PS. Mike, hope you don't mind, I'll add a picture of the tank lit with the XM's and VHO actinics.I took this couple of days ago.

Coral Vue 10K's. According to Sanjay's charts I better be careful when I put the new bulbs in. The XM's have TWICE (almost) the output!
