pic of tanks with hanging mh lamps

I was thinking about putting a hanging mh pendant over my 10 gal but my wife isn't sold on the look. Does anyone have any pics so I could show her what it would look like.

thanks

I suppose it will all depend on what type of pendant you'll choose, for 10g tank a bell shape pendant would be fine and you could use a 175W bulbs in it. A small pendant with 150 watt DE bulb in it would be even better and brighter.

Check out this IceCap spot pendant, I think it's a great fixture to hang over small tanks.

and the choice of bulbs from 70W to 150W

As far as pictures, check out our gallery, I am sure you'll find something in the full tanks directory.

Sompa,

check my posts that I threw pics in. I have a 20g with a 250w 20k de hung over it. I think it looks great.

Coral life has a cool new 150W pendant that is on a friction type cable, you can grab it and move it up and down, and it stays where you put it! Great for getting in the tank and cleaning. Plus you can easily raise the whole fixture should you need to avoid sunburn...

The ocean light that I use has a button that you push to move it up and down on the cables, slightly different than the friction cable but just as easy and a little more trustworthy imo.
