Problem with the Actinic Blue

Well, I am not sure what happened or is happening, but it appeared as thought the actinic blue PC bulb went out for my Orbit, so i went ahead an purchased another PC bulb, but it doesnt work now? Each bulb has a separate switch with the cooling fan and the lunar lights, but when I attempt to turn on just the actinics, it doesnt work? Any ideas, thoughts.. I would hate to think that my new PC needs to be replaced? HEEELLLLPP

Try the new actinic bulb (you might try the old bulb too if the new one works) in a spot where a white light is currently working and that will tell you if the bulb is good. If it works then it is likely the ballast. If the unit is less than a year old it should still be under warranty.

HTH,
Kevin

Hey Kevin, Thanks man... Yes, its only 1 month old, so it should qualify for warranty at this point. Good idea, (which i shouldve thought of before.. ) to try the other socket and plug the old bulb or new bulb in there to see if it will work.. I am suprised though, that the ballast would be already problematic being so new..but then again, I am not sure if this is an inherent thing with PC lights?
