Greetings all,
I looking for the # and Manufacturer for a ballast that will run a single 96w PC. I know AHsupply supplies one with their kits. I've checked both Advanced and Magnetek catalogs for a listing specifically for a single tube -- only magnetic ballasts are shown. Is AH supply using a Magnetic ballast and not an electronic?? I want to add a third tube to my lighting system that can be controlled by a seperate timer. My current Ballast is an Advanced REL 2S110. I will be using 2 6700k tubes with this ballast and putting the 7100k tube on the single ballast. An Master Electrician friend has told me I can just use the one set of outputs from the REL 2S110 and cap the others with no ill effects -- I 'm, however, a little reluctant to do this. TIA for any info you might have. Don

I don't know anything about Advanced, but most ballasts can be operated from just one of the outputs.
Check http://www.icecapinc.com/ . Their IC430 and IC660 will do exactly what your looking for.

The REL-2s-110 can run only one with the other capped, or wired to a recpt with no light.
These are magnetic electroinc ballast, what ever that means. I run one with one set of pc's and the other is the ah ballast, both are the same size and weight, wire colors are diffrent but still wire the same.

Thanks for the info -- makes me a lot more comfortable about using the REL-2S-110 for a single tube. I'll wire my control panel now!! Don
