Check this out,The MH Clamp-On Unit Came Today, PICS
I've had my tank cycling for about 6 weeks now, I want to get the lighting set before I start adding any livestock to it. Currently I only have the stock 15w hood bulb running. I've been trying to decide whether to use a dual 40watt PC (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=11418&N=2004+113176) or a MH. My problem is that the tank is to small for any ready to order fixtures unless I use a pendant. I don't really want to use the Pendant in the room where the tank is located. I did just find a hang on 150 MH (http://www.aquacon.com/coralifehalides.html) Has any one used this light? I looking to add some soft coral some LPS and a possible clam or 2 in the future. I'm just looking for ideas anyone else might have.

Thanks,
I ordered the light I should have it this week. Then I can finally get started.
Where did you order it from?
I ordered from coralreefecosystems.com they had the best pricing $30 to $50 cheaper than every other site I found that had it.
Well, you better post pics when you get it, just so we can make sure you got the right one!!!!![]()

I like the light. It should work well for future sps and clams. I had no coraline growing until I added it. I have to keep it at it highest point so the tanks doesn't get to hot. I had it a bit lower but the water got up to 85. Should I think of any additional lighting ex. moon light?
As far as the heat issue goes, maybe you'd want to try putting a fan blowwing across the water, either on your sump or your display. That should help keep things a little cooler. Moon lites are optional as far as I'm concerned. They are for aesthetics only really. They sure do look cool tho!!Originally Posted by csk109
