thry have seemingly cheap MH bulbs, anybody had experience with the bulb they use? is the 20 k bulb a good option?
its 41 bucks shipped..

I switch between the 250w 10K and 14K and I LOVE them!



I think if you try them you'll like them. If you check on E-bay under KMTBM for my rating you'll see that the people that have tried them like them.

The 20K in the 175 is a deep water blue if you want a more blue look it is a good bulb and still gives decent growth.

If you're looking for the "GLOW" out of your corals, but still want a whiter light, the 10K 175w bulb would better meet your needs. It gives enough actinic to REALLY make the colors stand out without giving a blue hue to your tank.

I have been trying to find a couple more reefmax bulbs and cant...... can somebody help me out?

This thread is 3 years old, it may be possible that they aren't in business anymore. The link they provide does not take me to anywhere near a reef site.
