Post Coralife Lunar Aqualight 24" Deluxe

Hello all, I was wondering what opionions where out there for the Coralife Lunar Aqualight 24" Deluxe lights. Thats all I have got and it seems to do a really good job. I want to upgrade but its not in the budget right now, but I wanted to get some thoughts about the lights. Thanks

Hi ReeferSd,

Opinions on adequacy of the light will depend on your tank and what you keep in it. If you could give us some details about that it would be helpful. Overall I would say this light is fine for small tanks with less light demanding coral such as leathers, zoos, shrooms, etc.

I myself wouldn't want to grow sps with it, but it looks like it would do a good job for alot of softies aand shrooms.

I have those lights (without the moonlight) and they worked well for my mushrooms... although my zooanthids were questionable. I went to MH recently and the zooanthids are doing MUCH better, but those lights went right back into their boxes, because they were pretty good workhorses, and I liked the color. I'm looking to set up a 10 gal. Mantis shrimp tank soonish (there's a thread in FO), and I'm going to use one of them for the lighting. I have the 50/50 straight pin bulbs. What do you use?
