Aqua Spacelight ?
Has anyone place a 48" Aqua Spacelight over a 60" reef tank? I am interested in 2 250 HQI bulbs. My tank size 60"/27"/27". Also interested where center of bulbs are on the fixture?
Thanks, Steve ![]() |

As you probably know, Susan's Starphire tank is exactly the same size as yours. She has a 48" Aquastarlight Future fixture with 2*250w 10,000K HQI dbl-end lamps & a 25w incandescent moonlight. Here is pic of her tank: I have the same fixture she has and I measured the spacing of the two HQI lamps. The center of each HQI lamp is exactly 12" from either end of the fixture, which makes the space between the two HQI lamps exactly 24" center to center. The center spacing between the edge of each HQI reflector is exactly 15", which is probably enough to accomodate the 2*24w PCs in the Aquaspacelight model, so the Aquaspacelight and the Aquastarlight Future are probably the same in that regard. I just remembered that Susan's tank is actually 60"L*24"W*27"H, so it's not exactly the same size as yours.
