I have 4 VHO's over my 90Gal. keeping mostly soft, leathers but I recently started buying some SPS. I've tried to place them high closer to the lights. Is this fine or should I think about MH??

There are alot of people that just use VHO's for their sps tanks, and alot of them look really good.
What type of sps did you get. There are some that do good under VHO, like a bunch of the montiporas, and I know that A. yongei will do OK.
I think the more sps that you get, the more you will want MH tho. The colors seem to me to be better under the halides. JMHO
