Current satellite 48" ---how long does it last?

Sorry if this is dumb question, but im a little stressed. I bought this particular lighting system just over a year ago and i think my ballist is gone. I think that because when my system turns on, the bulbs blink really fast for about 10 min before turning on fully. I have asked a LFS and they think its the ballist. I also called a couple of people and they think the same. Has anyone ever had the same problem or is it about that time were i need to replace it? If so whats a good lighting system that will last longer? Thanks.

It is something with the ballast for sure but 1 year seems premature to me. I think that a lot of people report problems with this lighting system after only a short time. Have you tried to contact the manufacturer?

Thanks reef. I tried to search for currentUSA on-lind but it keeps sending me to sights where they sell their products. I dunno i might just be a comp dummy, but if anyone knows how to contact them that would help a lot. Thanks again for the reply.
