german ebay store t5s and halides - too good to be true?
heya,
I'm just about to look at upgrading my basic Juwel 125 tank, getting a custom built 4 or 5ft tank. Now I was looking at getting an Arcadia T5 Luminaire at first (about £200 for 5ft version) as I can clip it over the tank rather than have to hang from ceiling as I rent privately, alternatively get a wall bracket for halides or something. Now I came across this ebay store http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Bavaria-Trading_W...storeviewQQtZkm The prices seem to be bargains, £31 for what look like T5 luminaires? ex delivery of course. Also halide systems 2x150 with 2x30w neons starting at £100. Surely these are too good to be true? Does anyone know of the make of the lights, if they are any good? and are the replacement tubes available over here in UK? If I go for any of these instead of the Arcadia luminaire, I see it comes with various Wattages for the T5 systems - which mix do you recommend? higher the better? cheers, Tuck |
