correct fuse
Hi all,
I am having a problem to locate the correct fuse for my very old Aquastarlight (metal halide bulbs 2x150W + 25W moonlight). The size is 120 x 12 x 7.5 cm approx. Maybe it is too old, I have used it for almost 10 years. Now the shop is closed and the warranty is ......The worst is I lost the blown fuse. Anyone could advise me the correct fuse rating of this model (eg/ ? amp, slow blown, fast action or other special types ....) ? ? regards / Wai |

Fortunately I found the blown fuse for this AB (or AquaMedic now) Aquastarlight. The fuse type is quite special, the marking on the body is T6.3H 250V. After reading several technical document, I understand the meaning of T is for time-lag fuse links (there are many other types as FF, F, M..); 6.3 is certainly for the rated current in Ampere; H is for high breaking capacity (other type is L for low breaking capacity) & 250V is certainly for rated voltage.

The only other thing that I could think of maybe try an electrical supply shop. Explain to them what it is used for. Maybe they could help you out.
