Combining temperatures???
I've been using 10000K and actinic (both pc) for the past year. I've recently purchased a MH setup. I wanted to run 14000K on the MH, could I also run the 10000K pc as well?

SUre you COULD, but why would you want too? Your corals are going to need to be acclimated to the new halides, so I would not ADD any additional light to the process. After you have acclimated the corals over a period of 10-14 days and you want to add the PC, go ahead, but I would keep it off until after they are used to the halides.

Actually that was part of the reason I wanted to use them. While acclimating, I wanted to run them for the regular light hours, while slowly adding the MH. I just wasn't sure if 2 diff Temperatures would stress out my corals and anemone.
Thanks |

That may work... Turn on the halides for X, then off go the halides, on comes the 10K?
