VHO Lighting

Ok well i am going to be building my own canopy. Currently i have a ARO VHO ballast with 2 24inch 75w bubls 1 actnic and 1 10k retrofitted in a stock hood.
I also have 2 NO ballasts lying around.
This is what i was planning on doing. Getting another VHO ballast and 4 36inch VHO bulbs from URI. 2 super blue actnics and 2 aquasun 10k. For the additional NO bulbs i was thinking of adding maybe 2 6,500k bulbs.
Also would a reflector make the lights work better?
Any suggestions I would appreciate. Metal Halide is something i really dont want to use. What would i be able to keep under that set up?
What would the best possible setup be for 4 VHO bulbs and 2 NO bulbs?

I think your on a good track and would be able to keep most any coral with the exception of Acropora's. I would also exclude clams.

As for your options, adding the NO lights aren't going to do anything for you, so don't bother. Get the 4 VHO's burning and you'll be in good shape.

The 4 VHO should be good for a 38, unless you really want to get into acros and clams. Then you are probably going to have to take the plunge.
