Thanks man! Your tank looks awesome! The coral and anemones look great. How's the seahorse doing- does he get enough food? I want one but worry about their ability to contend for food.

As far as the lighting situation . . . I'm getting there. Thinking about maybe two 10.5" 150 watt MH hqi's that mount to the back and hang over the tank. Either that or the MH/t5 combo. Really not sure. The 260w could work, as shown by your great pics, as long as the width works.

wow ! those metal halides will be awesome.. things will be growing like crazy. dont forget a small fan for those lights.

the seahorse has moved to another tank.. i think he finnaly got harrassed and he wasnt doing to good , so instead of having him there and let him die off i gave him my lfs for credit..i still see him every so often..

i have converted my 42 hex tank into saltwater so i got another one and put him there with about 4 gobies and 2 blennies and one scopas tang and false percula clown and a tomato clown.. he is doing great .. and im thinking of adding more so he can be with a group .

Sounds great about the 42 hex- glad you got another seahorse- they are sweet.

I am so close to sold on this MH/T5 unit. It seems like it will definitely work and i have some testimonials (as well as pics) that the unit is great and emits no heat:
