    VHO Lighting Question

Ok i need some help maybe someone out there can help me. I been back and forth bout lights and i decided i dont wanna do metal halide because of the brace i have on my tank. I have 2 set ups in vho in mind

    setup one
    2x95 10,000k
    2x95 12,000o
    2x95 Super Actinic

What would i be able to keep under this lighting it would be 570watts of lighting.

    setup two
a lil milder than the first
    2x95 10,000k
    2x95 Super actinic

what would i be able to keep under just those 4 bulbs equalling 380watts.

I guess my question is is that is there a big difference between the first and second. Will that first setup allow me to keep more or will they both be around the same. The second would save me about 73 dollars.

Im only looking to keep any kind of soft coral, an anenome and possibly a clam.

If you dont want MH, I would suggest t5's. They can produce huge amounts of light and I am a firm believer that you can keep anything under them that you could keep under MH if you do it right. I think it will be difficult to keep any anemone under those lights that you chose.

I would stay away from anemones if I were you. Clams need bright light also. You would probably be OK with mushrooms, leathers, zoos. Why can't you use two MH's (one on either side of the center brace)?

WHat are the deminsions of your tank? I am guessing 36x12x18 tall? 4 T5's would be enough for about anything you want to raise.

The 4 VHO's would be good enough for a Bulb Tipped Anemone but I don't think I'd try a clam under them. 6 VHO's might be enough for a lower light clam.
