hanging/mounting MH

I just got my 36 inch 2x 250 watt MH fixture. I thought it came with a hanging kit but there is no way to hang it and it came with no hanging kit. How should a do this, should i use legs to prop it up or hang it with something? There is no spots to attaching any hanging stuff to.

Thanks
Kyle

If it has legs use them. What kind of fixture is it? I am sure someone around here has done a mod to that particular item. The only problem with the mod, is that you will probably void the warranty. You could contact the manufacturer and ask them also.

Well, I am not familiar with that particular pendant. Did you contact the manufacturer to see if they had the hardware to hang it?

If the legs dont work out or you would like to hang it from the ceiling there is a great little doodad made for the horticultural industry to hang HIDs
these work great if you need to move the lamp in order to access the tank.
heres a link to just a couple models.

pdfb55,

After looking at the details of their lights, the website says "If you'd like mounting brackets or legs, add an additional $30. Their product seem to be sort of a la carte. Are you sure it's a pendant and not a full 36" hood? Anyway, thats pretty much what I'm looking for, let me know how you like it.

I just got back from camping today and the legs came yesterday. So i set them up today and uploaded some pictures to my gallery (quality isn't very good though) http://www.reefland.com/gallery/brow...imageuser=7404

They look good, very blue and bright!
