I need to make a hood to hold my lighting (4 lumenarc 250w mh and 4 110w vho). What is the best way to do this?
I was thinking of leaving the top "open", so that heat can dissipate easier. I figure I can put some eggcrate or mesh or something. I will also have a register on one side plumbed directly into the hvac system to pull the heat into the system as much as possible also. I was planning on using 1x4 pieces to construct the skeleton of the hood. the lighting would attach directly to this. the sides would be thin plywood (to reduce weight). I will also need to build a "pivot" on one corner where I can swing the whole hood out of the way if I needed to. But that's another chapter! cool, i just saw the popcorn eating guy...how cool is that? ![]()
