T-5 Lights
Does anyone on here use or heard of Nova Extreme T-5 lights? I'm thinking of buying this for my 75 any opinions would be appreciated. It's rated for 432 watts is this to much light for this tank?

I don't know anything about that particular fixture, but if it doesn't have individual reflectors for each lamp, that's not too good. T5 lamps are much more effective if there is a separate reflector for each lamp. That makes a huge difference.
As far as 432 watts (8x54w) is concerned, that would be fine for your 75-gal tank. It would not be too much light -- especially if you make half of the lamps actinic.
