IceCap and XM
Hi all, Im wondering if anyone has ever reported having trouble with the XM brand MH bulbs running in old IcaCap Ballasts.

Don't know!!! But I'll bump this up for you. I have heard of people having problems with the XM bulbs, but I don't know what ballast they were using.

Thank you, I just got off the phone with IceCap and they informed me that XM is a hard lamp to start and the older IceCap ballasts dont have a restarting module to ensure these lamps will fire. The new models do.
They also offered to install one for me, but I think I can deal without access to a brand or two. FWIW Matt |
