Lighting

Lets try this again...kinda messed up the first thread by adding to a post...sorry about that. Lets see if this one works.

Same question.

Just wanted some opinions on some lighting. I been wanting to add some clams so I am going to need to upgrade. I am currently running some PCs in a 100 gallon (60x18x20). I was thinking of going with some 250w halides. My question is....What is a good brand out there? I am willing to put some money down for a good brand, and how many do you all recommend for my tank?

I think 2-250W would give you what you need. I personally like the Reefflux 10k bulbs.
The edges of the tank will be darker, but you will be OK.

PFO, Sunlight Supply and Icecap are all great options. We have a lot of lighting specific sponsors that can help you get a good brand.

Really it depends on your needs. Are you looking for a complete plug and play system or a retrofit design that you can install into your own canopy?
