What type of coral are you going to look into? Deciding that will help us help you.
I'm new to the lighting thing. I have a 45 gallon with my rocks that just got finished curing and its ready for fish and whatnot. There is a basic hood light in it now with a 10,000k bulb in it, i'm sure thats not enough.
Can anyone tell me a route to go? I do plan on having some corals and inverts. Should I get an all glass cover and what type of lights?
Any help would be great, thanks

Mostly mushrooms and polyps.
OK, now we are getting somewhere.
You could look into either VHO or T5 lighting, Check out our sponsors page and you should be able to at least get an idea of what you want and you can go from there. We'll be around to help out when you make a decision, or need some more help. We never sleep.![]()
