I was in the LFS and they recommended the Coralife Mini Fluorescent 50/50 bulbs for my 10 gal nano.
He said because I had such a small aquarium that this was suitable for a nano reef.
Seen that they come in two flavors, a 10 watt and 20 watt version.
What are your thoughts on this?
Are these suitable bulbs for a 10 gal nano reef? What about if I wanted my coral to propagate?
What lighting systems are others using for their 10 gal nano reefs?

you could use those, but i dont think your corals will propagate fast, but its worth a try while keeping youre calcium levels and maintaining your Ph levels . The only thing about those bulbs is that your will constantly cleaning the see thru plastic cover, and make sure not water creeps in the the built in ballast, it lights it up nice and makes your water look great.
Ive dont the setup you want to do , but ive alson done this Coralife 96w Quad PC setup, usually used for 60-70 bucks, or brand spanking new for 120.00 local, or 100 dollars plus shipping.
